Best places of Goa to visit

While you are in Goa you must be aware about all the beautiful places which are present around the city . This city is very famous for its beaches on ocean and some of the forts on beachside of ocean. In India Goa is also famous for authentic seafood because it is located on beachside and seafood here is the only best super food of this city.

In our next section we are going to discuss about what are some best places to explore in this beautiful city which are as follow :

# Baga beach

Baga beach is one of the most visited beach of Goa by tourists , because of its accessibility and easy to reach location. Most people when go to Goa are crazy about water activities going up in ocean and they want to do some of those. In most of the people do water activities like para sealing water ski end bumper ride in ocean, these activities here comes in different price range or else you can opt in for single activity.

When you do any activity in a package on baga beach it will cost you much lesser then any single activity you will do on this beach so I recommend you to do all the activities in a package so that you can save your money and invest it in any different activity.

These water activities include banana ride boat ride and some other adventurous activities which will definitely make you crazy and memorable when you are in Goa. These activities cost around 1500 in package for for all the activities, where is if you do any single activity it will cost you around 700 or ₹800 per activity.

# Colungate beach

Colungute beach is one of the famous beach of Goa which is famous for its night parties and beachside cafes. These beach side cafes arrange for you the most memorable buffet of your live while you are travelling to Goa because they arrange a table near ocean and make you sit for hours and enjoy your meal for sometime. I will not suggest to eat in these cafes but you can enjoy some kind of meal on seashore to enjoy your evening.

You can explore here and there in Goa for whole day and then come to colungate beach for your evening and night parties because the best evening and night parties held at colungate beach.

# Aguada fort

Aguada fort is also one of the Best place to visit in Goa because it is situated beach side , so you can enjoy sea view from top and also this fort was an old light house from where , ships were controlled. It is a kind of good place to hangout , while you are on route to south Goa.

It is one of the oldest fort near Goa where ships used to come in ancient time to fill water in their tanks , because rain water collects here in a big manmade tank.

You can spend two to three hours here doing some good photography and enjoy the view of ocean from here. This place is very peaceful and also you can enjoy some sort of local superfood here at outside of this fort. I am posting a youtube video of a local food here :

# Casino

Casino’s are one of the best place to hangout. A 1500 INR pass will be made in which you will get unlimited drinks and food. If you want to play casino , you will have to take other package which will cost you more than normal one.

You can have dance party on upper floor of casino and unlimited food and soft or hard drink. People assume that casino’s are only for playing , but no you can go and chill on big cruise and have food , drinks and fun all for this evening.

#  Miramar beach

Miramar beach was my personal favorite because of beautiful landscape views and the natural combination of colors of surrounding was just awesome. You must visit this beach to see its beauty.

At this beach you will see boat parties going on . You have to take a ticket of dolphin view and other 5 view spotting on a boat. When you will go on this boat , they will play songs and a party vibe will be there on that boat.

# Ozran beach

Ozran beach is also a good beach to visit while going to chapora fort , because chapora beach is our next destination. You can hangout for sometimes at ozran beach and enjoy your lunch here at nearby road restaurants. You can enjoy sea foods here at very affordable price on roadside restaurants but you will regret if you eat on beachside , because they don’t give good authentic taste of Goa.

You can enjoy some drinks like coconut water or some juices on beach or also you can enjoy chilled beer in afternoon if you are an alcoholic. After spending your afternoon , you will now head to your next destination that is Chapora fort.

# Chapora fort

Chapora fort is one of the best place to visit in Goa best best spot to watch ocean from some height, It is best known for its landscape views which are awesome for good photographs. This fort has great views of ocean from top and that’s why tourists are attracted towards this place. You can sit here and enjoy peaceful sound of ocean.

You can spend some times here , it is nearby anjuna beach around 5 kilometers. You can park your scooter here and climb some steps to reach upper side of this fort and enjoy views and click some good photographs.

# Anjuna beach

Anjuna beach is known for its black coral rocks on its beachside and that’s why it is one of the best place to visit in goa. It is one of the best attraction for couples for their shoots or pre wedding shoots. You can enjoy sunrise and sit on this beach early morning and can click most awesome photos of sunrise here.

This beach is all known for its beautiful black and blue combination of corals and ocean. You can enjoy 1 to 3 hours here and try to eat on roadside for your normal breakfast or lunch , because beachside restaurants are not so tasty but more costly. This beach is the sexiest beach of all the beaches.

Food in Goa :

Local food of Goa is made of less masala and spices which shows the simple and boiled food loved their. People usually going to Goa has mentality of eating goan special local authentic sea food , but some cafe’s out their fool their customers in sake of earning money. But i am here to teach you ‘how not to be fooled in Goa.

Make it in your mind that when ever you are going to eat your meal , just try to eat on road side small restaurants or stalls because they make the real taste of Goan sea food. Whereas if you go to any good restaurant , you will have to pay more than two to three times of its real worth rate.

You can enjoy any type of drink either hard or soft anywhere in Goa. Beer is quite cheap if compared to any other states of India.
