Tata motors is continuously trying to catch Indian market of electric car , because it has already given two bestseller electric cars and this is the third time when Tata motors is going to shock their customers by giving this cheapest electric car.
This car is specially designed for Indian roads and current situation of roads of India. That’s why this car gives 315 km of range per charge. This car is a hatchback segment car and in India , their was none other brands who were offering electric cars in this price range.

Price of Tata Tiago EV
This car is launched in low budget segment of cars , it starts from 8.49 lacs and this price goes up to 11.79 lacs for top model of this car ( ex showroom price). It is a basic price you pay for any normal petrol or diesel car , but this one is Tata tiago EV and you will travel without any hassle. At this price range no other brand gives electric car and that is the reason Tata motors have taken this step after launch of it previous electric car Tata Tigor EV. This price makes it the most affordable electric car in India.

This electric car has total seven variants , from which you can select your favorite model according to your need and use.
In this car Tata motors is offering two different battery packs from which you can select one according to your need . As one of the battery pack is 19.2 Kwh which will give a total mileage per charge is around 250 km whereas , 24 Kwh batteries give a range of 315 km per charge. Tata motors have done a very wise selection of batteries for two different types of users.

The 7.2 Kw charge can charge your car in just 3 hours and 36 minutes whereas DC fast charger can charge your car from 10 to 80% in just 57 minutes.
Features added in this car
- Cruise control is one of the best feature which was previously found in luxury segment cars , but now a days companies are offering it in their all segment cars. Petrol version of Tata tiago also don’t have cruise control even in its top model. You can continue driving your car on one speed without pressing your accelerator pedal.
- Auto headlamps Is a feature for your comfort , as you don’t have to always power ON and OFF from your steering wheel . When day comes , headlamps automatically switches OFF and when it comes night time , these Headlamps ON automatically.
- Other New features include automatic electronically controlled ORVM’s and it adds another good feature in this car , apart from it this car has got leatherette seats and touch screen infotainment system. Design
Design of this car is quite similar to old Tiago petrol , just in addition to that company has given blue chroming in front and back to differentiate EV and normal petrol cars. This new design is available in 5 different colors which are tropical mist , teal blue , daytona grey , pristine white and mid night plum.
